Shree Kabbalamma Devi temple is situated in Kabbalu in Kanakapura taluk, Ramanagara district of Karnataka.
Shree Kabbalamma is one of the powerful goddess with devotees visiting from all over the state to worship the goddess to lead their life joyfully. Devotees offer various poojas and rituals at this temple to over come from their problems. History says that, during the British rule, offenders were punished by pushing them from top of hill so that the offenders will die without any chance to survive. One such convicted person was saved by praying to Goddess Kabalamma and getting his life saved from punishment, he offered a golden crown to Kabalamma Devi.
Recently the temple came into light and devotees from many places are visiting this temple. In the temple premises, lord Basaveshwara (Nandi) is also present, all poojas are first performed to Basaveshwara. Devotees keep money on the hornes of Lord Basaveshwara to relieve them from all kinds of problems.
Kabalamma Devi temple can be reached either through Channapatna or Kanakapura road from Bangalore. From Kanakapura temple is at a distance of 10 kms at place called Kabbalu.
